Designing education for a whole nation.
Nelson and his team at WeSpark designed the Modern Finance and Bitcoin Diploma (Bitcoin Diploma 2.0), El Salvador's national curriculum on modern finance and Bitcoin, together with the National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC). Nelson announced it at Bitcoin Histórico in November 2025, and the design was completed in February 2026.
"Designing education for an entire nation is the highest responsibility you can have as an educator," says Nelson. The content has to be completely impartial and neutral. It has to be highly visual and gamified, keep students engaged, and deliver the most value and impact with every word, every sketch and every activity.
The result is one course with more than 2,000 visualizations, a sign of how much Nelson's team visualizes to make learning clear. The official course book, Diplomado en Bitcoin: Curso Oficial, was published in April 2026 with the Ministry of Education and ONBTC, with a goal of reaching up to 500,000 students.

What does a curriculum design consultant do?
A curriculum design consultant turns learning goals into a complete program: structure, content, visuals, activities and assessment. Nelson Inno designs curricula for ministries, universities, foundations and companies.
Does Nelson only offer education consulting, or also full curriculum design?
Both. Nelson offers education consulting on his own, and for bigger projects he works with his full team at WeSpark. Together they design anything from institutional training to nationwide education that scales across an entire country.
Is it possible to use AI for education?
Yes. Nelson and his team build education platforms that use AI to personalize learning. The AI follows a Socratic process: it asks questions instead of giving answers, and it measures the progress of each learner. For this to work, the educational content itself still has to be designed with great care.
Do you take part in tenders?
Yes. Nelson and his team take part in tenders through WeSpark, especially where quality and technical expertise are part of the evaluation.
How long does it take to design a full diploma or course?
It depends on size. A national program like Bitcoin Diploma 2.0 took about six months from design to final content.
Do you design courses for other countries?
Yes. Nelson and his team are open to education and innovation projects in any country. They design in English and adapt the content to other languages, and they localize every program: they study the context and culture of the place where the curriculum is created, and the culture of the people who will learn with it.
